A lovely place for a complete relax, great local walks with no need to drive anywhere. Hot tub was lovely and enclosed gardens very dog friendly.

The lodge was just as advertised in pictures. We would love to revisit, maybe summer, when we could enjoy the lovely garden with beautiful views more!

We absolutely loved our stay at the lower fish pool lodge. The lodge was beautiful, clean and cosy. We enjoyed lots of local walks, evenings in the hot tub, games and a cosy fire.

Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed exploring the gated garden area, and being by the fire in the evenings. We are going to miss waking up to the beautiful views and birds singing in the mornings.

This was our 5th time to visit the cabin but the first time visiting under Savannah’s ownership. The lodge had had a much needed spruce up and was very tastefully decorated. everything you could ever need/want was contained within the cabinet and it is so homely.

We love the fact that there is very little to do around the cabin as we come here just to chill out so it’s perfect for us! Savannah was the perfect host and responded very quickly to our messages. We cannot wait to visit again with the newest member to our family in the near future.

We stayed in Forest View for 4 nights, we arrived in the evening and although it was pitch black, it was easy to find and there are plenty of sensor lights round the cabin when you’re walking round in the dark. Inside is spacious and well furnished with pretty much everything you could need for a few days away. As soon as we lit the log burner, we felt right at home – it’s lovely and cosy.

There’s a great view down the valley from the hot tub and we appreciated the roof over it, as the weather wasn’t always good! If you’re looking for somewhere to get away from it all and relax for a few days I highly recommend staying here. We’ll be back!

The lodge was a perfect getaway with stunning views. We enjoyed a lovely walk with our daughter and the dog each morning, in the neighbouring Radnor Forest. The relaxing hot tub over looking the valley was a particular favourite.

The accommodation was very comfortable and with great amenities. A fantastic private and peaceful lodge. We’d highly recommend a visit to the Elan Valley which is a short drive away. A fantastic day out! We’ll certainly look to visit again in the future.

Lovely lodge, easy to access and in beautiful surroundings. It had everything we needed and the log burner and hot tub made it feel that little bit more special.

Very private and just the peace and quiet we needed. Loved the fenced in garden so the dog could run free whilst we enjoyed the hot tub too.

Lovely relaxing 3 night stay with my wife and 12yr old son. we walked and mountain biked from the lodge straight into the forest and surrounding hills, then relaxed in the hot tub with nice views of the valley.

The lodge was spacious and had everything we needed for self catering. nearest pub/restaurant is 15min drive, we went to the traditional horse and jockey as recommended by Savannah and had an enjoyable pub lunch.

Stayed with my family and 2 boisterous collies. All had a superb and relaxing time. The lodge was beyond my expectations, well equipped and comfortable in every way!

The beautiful wandering trails right on the doorstep are a tonic to the soul. It was without doubt the best break I’ve had for a long time and will definitely be back!

Everything about the place is fantastic, didnt need to take half the stuff I did as so much was provided.
